This work is inspired by a song for a popular game we used to play in our childhood, where a girl named Laila stands in the middle and the rest of the children surround her in a circular motion. The game begins by asking her by singing, “Laila, Laila, why are you crying?” Laila answers, “I want my friends.” The children complete the game with her, but unfortunately Laila, who in reality cannot find her friends because they have all become angels as a result of the war and genocide, is left alone crying.

هذا العمل مستوحى من أغنية للعبة شعبية كنا نلعبها في طفولتنا، بحيث تقف فتاة اسمها ليلى في المنتصف ويحيط بها بقية الأطفال في حركة دائرية، تبدأ اللعبة بسؤالها بالغناء "ليلى، ليلى، لماذا تبكين؟ تجيب ليلى أريد أصدقائي"، فيكمل الأطفال اللعبة معها، ولكن للأسف ليلى التي في الحقيقة لا تجد أصدقائها لأنهم جميعاً أصبحوا ملائكة نتيجة الحرب والابادة الجماعية ، فتترك ليلى وحدها تبكي
