"Identifiable images, things that everyone knows and understands, take on a life of their own in the work of Juman Nimri. Drawn in a style that exhibits extreme facility, they are intimate glimpses of an order that confounds nature.  Chairs falling over, cactus’s that dominate rooms, the sense that someone has just left and we are witnesses, emanate from these seductive prints. Nimri’s printmaking style has total command technically and allows us to appreciate her unique vision that goes beyond how it was done, and lets us explore the world she has created."

الصور التي يمكن التعرف عليها، والأشياء التي يعرفها ويفهمها الجميع، تأخذ حياة خاصة بها في عمل جمان النمري. وهي مرسومة بأسلوب يُظهر سهولة شديدة، وهي لمحات حميمة لنظام يربك الطبيعة. الكراسي تسقط، الصبارة التي تهيمن على الغرف، ينبع الإحساس بأن شخصًا ما قد غادر للتو ونحن شهود، من هذه المطبوعات المغرية
