The womb
 Half of the of the human race she is, from her folds emerges the other half.
 The other half appointed her as a Queen but denied her from her royalty.
 She is the world and the only one in it.
 He gave her strength and fear and denied her from ruling.
 She embraces, but nothing could embrace her.
 Only thorns remain in her heaven.

الرحم
هي نصف البشرية، ويخرج من ثناياها النصف الآخر
النصف الآخر عيّنها ملكة وأنكر ملكيتها
جعلها العالم بأجمعه وهي الوحيدة في العالم
منحها القوة والرهبة ومنع عنها الحكم
هي وعاء ولا وعاء يحويها
لم يبقى من جنتها سوى أشواك
